Kevin J. O’Hare

Background

Kevin has been in the practice of law since 1992, joining YMFZ in 2003.  Throughout his career, he has counseled clients in a wide range of civil matters, both in and out of the courtroom.  Most of his clients are individuals and small businesses. He values the opportunity to counsel these clients through difficult issues and situations with the goal of helping them reach their objectives.

Kevin’s practice has allowed him to gain significant experience in a number of areas, including real estate (purchases and sales, property tax appeals, zoning and municipal approvals, homeowners and property owners association issues, etc.), business transactions (asset sales and purchases, etc.), business formation, a wide range of contract drafting and negotiation, as well as many other areas of general civil practice.

Additionally, through his career, Kevin has developed particular expertise in counseling clients in estate planning, including Medicare planning, and estate administration matters, and other matters in Orphans’ Court.

Further, during his years with the firm, he has supported its position as solicitor to several school districts, zoning boards and a large municipal water and sewer authority in the Pittsburgh area.  This has provided him with significant experience in addressing numerous municipal law issues, including eminent domain and benefit assessment matters.
