Chadd C. Colin

Background

Chadd has been with YMFZ for his entire career, after joining the firm in 2008 while in his second year of law school.  During his 13 years of practice, he has represented businesses of all sizes in a wide variety of industries on both transactional matters and litigation. Chadd prides himself on helping his clients avoid problems and interruptions through careful planning, practical contract drafting, insightful business and personnel counseling, and forward-thinking strategizing.

When problems do arise, Chadd represents his clients aggressively and ethically in business litigation matters in state court, federal court, administrative hearings, and in mediations and arbitrations. He has tried numerous cases to verdict and argued multiple times before the Pennsylvania Superior Court.  While Chadd encourages his clients to use litigation as a last resort, he is comfortable and confident in the courtroom.

Chadd has extensive subject matter experience with commercial contract drafting and disputes, non-profit corporations, the senior living industry, the staffing and personnel industry, employment matters, commercial finance (including representing financial institutions), real property rights, intellectual property rights, municipal corporations, sports and entertainment, insurance disputes, and storm water issues.
